Here is my problem.
I have a local network (Netgear router) under WinXP SP2 with 2 desktops and

I got a brand new PC with XP and completed 'hard-wired' networking

It seems to be a common problem but after reading other responses I still

My boss' laptop keeps grabbing the public library's unsecured wireless
network instead of our network. I've moved our network to the top of the list
of selections and the library's way down, but it keeps happening.  Any

Problem: I am a computer novice.  I have an older Dell Inspiron 3500 Laptop
