Is there a short and sure way of finding out what process owns wireless
adapter? We think that on XP it will either be WZC service or 3rd party
wireless profile application. Can I query wireless device/adapter and find
out?

I have an older desktop, bought a Dell laptop, added a wireless router
and setup a home network using Network Magic. I have the desktop wired
to the router along with a satellite internet connection. The
satellite internet is not at all what I thought they would be and my

When traveling, I'm having issues when trying to connect to other wireless
networks. At home, everything is fine. When I click on "view available
wireless networks" this is the message I get:
"Windows cannot configure this wireless connection. If you have enabled

Hi, I have to get a wireless router and the question I have is which one
will work with XP or VIsta. is it the one that has the G at the end or the N
?  WHat is the difference. I think N is newer but will the G routers work
too with any machine? Also, does it matter what OS i have ...

A friend of mine has a home computer with a wireless routert.  It is
on the west side of the house about 40 feef wide. There is a 10 foot
driveway, then the garage for a range of about 85 feet from the router
to the spot for the computer in his garage with about 25 feet inside

I have an HPDV2310 laptop running vista home premium with an 802.11
a/b/g wireless lan & bluetooth.  Its about a year old and I've been
having no problems with wireless networking until about a day ago.
Starting then, I can no longer detect any wireless networks - either
