I had stored a lot of data that I prepared on my old
Windows 98 SE program, using Corel 7 Word Perfect. The
Windows xp home edition has a conflict and iI cannot

You would expect to be able to SHARE the SHARED DOCUMENTS
folder.  We have a 5-user Quickbooks office and cannot
access date on any Windows XP computer.  Thank goodness, I
could copy the data files to an older Windows ME computer
