Dos program hangs when in full-screen mode19 Jul 2003 06:18 GMT3
I am running a DOS program on Windows XP-Home.  When I
switch to full-screen, the program hangs.  This does not
happen when I install the same software on another
computer which is also running Windows XP-Home.

We have been playing disks, games etc that have been bought, in the DVD-Rom
Drive, since Feb when computer was purchased, with no problems at all. Now
we can only play the games in the DVD-writer drive and nothing seem to work

hi .. cud anyone plz help me out with the WIndows

My DVD rom and CD -R -writer seem to have swapped themselves round, and I
cant understand why???
How do I go about getting them back to where they should be???

Sorry, I will try to explain it a bit better... due to my lack of computer
terminology!!!
We used to be able to put a disk in the DVD-Rom drive and it would play ok..
but now the disks for some reason only seem to play in the Hp-DVD-Writer,

Everytime i try to enter certain sites a message pops up

I have a hard disk with only one dynamic NTFS partition
(created under Win2k)
I have connected this disk to a WinXP Home Edition computer.
Result : The XP computer "sees" the disk and its partition BUT
Host for  FTP16 Jul 2003 20:18 GMT1
I cannot have a machine connect to XP.  It's looking for
HOST.  On NT I can name a host.

PC shuts down when I hit the #4 on keypad16 Jul 2003 19:23 GMT1
This just started last night.  When I hit the #4 on the
keypad it shuts down my PC.  Any thoughts??
