My pc crashed several months ago also using XP,

Is it possible to password protect a folder? The reason it 'needs' a
password is because several people use the same login, but not everyone
should be able to access this certain folder.

I am having problems with XP starting up.  When I turn on
the computer it will go to a screen that gives the
options of safe mode, last good configuration, etc.  By
