when i log on to winxp i get the error svchost.exe and
tells me to restart system. I can access the internet if i
run in safemode but, outside of safemode i'm screwed! Is
there any fixes or patches i can get to fix this problem ?

All of a sudden, my laptop, configured with Windows XP,
decided it did not want to boot anymore. While booting, a
window pops up saying "lsass.exe error - object cannot be
found", and it does not want to go any further. I tried

I recently upgraded from ME to XP.Before I did so, I
turned off Norton's Anti Virus.The download was successful
except I now cannot enable Norton.I tried to re install
Norton 2003 and I get the response Error 1606 Could not

Trying to view source code of html files stored on my
hard drive. Get a windows error message (windows cant
find file), but will bring up file on second try. But
then I can't open the source code to make changes on my

Everytime I shut down, the message comes up as follows :
Winnet.exe - DLL initialization fail
I keep clicking on OK and then it shuts down but it is
very frustrating.

under maintenace message and advises us to clear the
