After upload of modernization from windows update I have always this error.
The net has become slow and not stable.  I have tried to resolve the problem
installing dirctx90b, still installing the card of net and the protocols,
but the error still exists:  help!?

I made a hotkey for a shortcut on my desktop.  The

on my XP machine.  Does anyone know what it is for.  I
did not create it.  Can I delete it without harming my
system?  What is its purpose?

I have a dell xps R450 pc which came with windows 98..I
purchased the XP version last year and have not installed
it. I am afraid of everything not working with the

I cannot load regedit, task manager, or msconfig.  I do
not get an error message when i open them, they simple
open up and close quickly.  Please help me on this
problem.

I accidentally checked the "don't remember passwords" box.  The dialogue
menu asking if I want the computer to remember passwords no longer comes up.
How do I get it working again?

When the computer starts up it gets all the way to where
the system tray starts putting in icons and then restarts
or sometimes it pops up says system crash recovery from a
device driver and runs for a little while then restarts.

Recently I upgraded from 512mb 10 G RAM. I have a Vaio
P4, 1.6Ghz. I bought decent memeroy from Crucial and
bought the type they recommneded. ONc I installed them
the achine became noticeably slower.

purchase.  It locked my computer up.  I then went and
purchased what I thought was the correct software, instead

I have tried just about everything to get this to work.
The problem is, I can set up a workgroup i.e. MSHOME,
however, i cannot browse that workgroup to access files.
I've uninstalling and reconfiguring my NIC's, I've tried
