Have lost all of my settings,pictures,mail prior to
8/8/2003 ect.When i tried to restore to previous restore
point and the computer re boots and the message
is "computer is not able to restore to previous date"

I have windowa XP.  computer was installed with programs
at purchase.  I can open .xls files, but my son cannot.  
What do I need to do?

Here's the deal, I was given a copy of Windows XP Pro by a
friend to upgrade my computer. I forgt my password and I
don't have the administrator password to change my user
account password. I also can't find the disk to save my

Ok umm i think i messed up my pc :( i kind was checking
out the file types and made it how now all my folders
open in a separate window. i tried the option of making
the folders in the same window but they still open in

My Windows XP Home became very unstable after installing
service pack 1. Therefore I decided to restore the hard
disk to it's original settings by using an Application &
Support CD which accompanied my compute 18 month's ago.

will not start.  I've checked the services that it is
dependent on and they are all working.  Gives me an error

I am posting this problem on behalf of a fellow user who
cannot connect to the internet and needs help:
I was able to connect to the Internet on Wednesday with
no problem.  Then on Thursday; nothing.  It won't let me

I have a recently new Dell Laptop with high end configuration. However, the
windows explorer takes a lot of time when I want to browse any folder -
intermittently it shows as it hangs for a while. It has been driving me
crazy recently. Any help in this regard is hightly appreciated.

I am having trouble with outlook.  When I attempt to send
mail I get the LOGON-POP3 screen whick asks me to enter a
user name and password.  It keeps coming up incorrect.  I
am getting quite frustrated with this.

I have a laptop that now is stuck on the Windows XP startup
screen.  I have tried to go to last known good
configuration and also tried to repair the XP system.

Norton Anti-Virus system scan logged a problem and it can not fix it.
