I have the same problem as Gill. I tried to reinstall XP as a pop-up told me I had to. It will not finish installing but keeps trying so I cannot use my computer. Dell said it is a M/S problem but I cannot get online

After some recent fiasco with installing/uninstalling anti- virus software I cannot connect to the internet and the laptop is mighty slow. All the antivirus SW is now uninstalled but my XP is acting up.
