I am running Windows XP on my home computer and I have had
the computer for about 3 months. all of the sudden
yesterday the computer powered itself on. I shut it off
and it has powered itself back on a few times since then.

when i try to run msconfig,regedit, or even jsut pressing
ctrl-alt delete all that happens is it pops up for a
second buyt then when i try to click something it goes
away. i have tried reinstaling windows but it hasnt helped.

I followed MS directions to disable the ICF firewall that

internet but when I went there to disable it it showed it
was never on yet I can't access my programs without right

I recently uninstalled Windows XP, and was converted back
to Win98.  I now am trying to re-install WinXP and I am un
able to do the install.  Every time I try I get a pop up

I turned on Windows Update last nigh on my HP laptop and
downloaded updates. This morning Windows would not open.
Tried to restore last known good configuration. Still does
not open. Any suggestions?
