The time and date reverts to June 2002 when I switch off.
Have to re-set time and deate every time I switch on.  
Machine seems to go one or more steps too far back from
windows screeen when switched off and therefore does

In the last 3 weeks, I have had several occasions, where
the computer has suddenly rebooted itself, while I'm
searching through My Documents or My Pictures.  It doesnt

All folders on local drives have read-only checked on.  I
can uncheck them and click ok but when I go back in
properites of that folder and the read-only is turned back
on.  I have verified that these folders and files are in

what if you have software which in it's packaging states
that it's compatible with microsoft xp but it has not been
tested. is there a way for it to get tested??

Quite often, I am unable to access the web or AOL when
getting on the computer; it "times out", and says the web
page is unavailable or that there was a problem with the

Good day folks:
Here's my situation and hopefully someone can help me.  I logged into my
bank's website with no problem but when I entered my username/password I got
his error message:  "The method specified in the Request Line is not allowed

I accidentally deleted userinit.exe in my registry files
believing it to be a backdoor worm...now I cant logon to
windows...when it loads to the users and i click on any
of them it goes to the desktop for a second the logs off
