I clicked a link that has taken over my Instant Messenger
and Home Page, thats all it done (as far as i know) and

It only happens for certain setup.exe programs
I can run other <file>.exe
I can also run windows setup programs
I do not think it is a virus as I Checked the registry,

I get an error message every time I log on saying  the
version of Mcaffee Security instaled is designed for a
different operating system, can't get in touch with
Mcaff, any ideas?

I installed several codecs and multimedia free programs.
After rebooting I get this error message:
"lsass.exe - system error
The endpoint format is invalid"

This is for my friend. When he is running Internet Explorer and right clicks
on a PDF File, the "Save Target As" function / option is greyed out.
Does this have anything to do with Content Advisor ?

after doing a clean-up, uninstalling unused programs etc, all did not go
exactly right, decided to go for a system restore, (several days later) all
went fine,except the old programs / downloads came back, including a big one
(netscape).

My motherboard crashed, so I took the existing hard drive
and installed in another computer with Win XP too.  But I
am unable to open the folders from these hard drive that
I created under the user that have administrative
