My friend has a Pent 4 and today he has phoned me for
help.
His computer wont start past the error message, "We
appologise for inconvenience but Windows did not start

I upgraded from windows2000pro to XPpro and it will not
log on under administration. I have tried every password

I have attpemted to look through the help support

day to day work. One fine morning, my PC wont let me in

Hello all, i have a windows XP home pc that had to change
the name of an account & i renamed the profile folder so i
could us it with the new user. i created this user as an
administrator which should have access to everything.

I can not log off XP. Changing user is OK, but since it is
unable to log off there will always be a user logged on.
Makes it impossible to turn off the PC. Anybody with a

my computer has 3 partitions - C:windows xp
                              D:windows xp
                              E:formatted(file storage)
On the D: partition I had a folder called 'work' on my

configured correctly.  My thought is an IRQ conflict
between the PCMCIA adapter and the Wireless-G adapter

From the beginning (from the purchase of this computer) I
have had unable to read hard drive errors.  Microsoft
acknowledged this problem early on and even provided me

Hey I'm having a slight problem starting my computer up.
When it turns on, "Please Check Signal Cable" pops up.
Ever since it's started, I've cleaned out my fans and the
interior of the computer, rechecked all the wires coming
