Whenever I open a windows-based explorer program (IE, or

with an XP upgrade disc.  Recently my hard drive had to be

Through 4 or 5 operating system versions I've used the Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar (i.e.  osa.exe).  However,  it doesn't come with XP and the W2000 osa.exe doesn't seem to do anything on XP either.  Has this application done away, or is there something in XP to take it's place

I have a user with Windows XP home edition.  She setup 5
users profiles.  4 out of 5 users have keyboard
response.  The fifth user has no keyboard response.  I've
removed the keyboard from device manager.  Still the same

I had the same problems that the others are describing
with the winlogon.exe image and msgina.dll file missing.  
I re-installed XP by booting from the CD, and choosing to
repair windows.  However, after installation was comlete,

I have Windows XP Pro installed on my machine.  The
problem I am having is I cannot log on using my current
password.  I have had my current password for about 15
months.  I can however log on using my old password.  When

I crashed yesterday and haven't been able to get into XP. I tracked down a CD (mine came installed) and got to the recovery console but when I type in the "md tmp" command I get:
"access denied."
Does anyone know a workaround for this?

I can not do a system restore. On Dec 14 I downloaded a
WinLT modem driver for my old computer. Since then I get
an atempt to log onthe network by the following file:
ginst_001_1234_4201.exe
