on and off the sounds that the keyboard makes when the

The Remote Procedure Call error message shows up and says
the computer will shutdown in 1 minute.  This happens each

MY keyboard works in my bios, but when i go to log into
windows xp at the login screen my keyboard doesnt work.
Ive tried usb and ps/2 keyboard to no avail. They all
work in the bios but not in the login screen. I cant get

When I try to log in as the administrator it just goes to
the screen and only the background loads. The desktop
items and taskbar will not load. Once you are there, you
cannot do anything except press control-alt-delete. You

I am unable to open word since i installed winfax pro. If
i un install winfax its ok i can type letters. The problem
is i need to fax the letters.... i am going around in

Hmmm... I'm already in need of help (again). I did search Help & Support,
but their suggestion is not working for me. Somehow my disk drives have been
playing musical (lettering) chairs.
I have 2 hard drives , floppy. DVD-Rom and CD-RW Drive.

Using the Recovery Console and choosing repair windows, or the restore
program, does using either of these get rid of all the obsolete shortcuts
and rubbish left over from deleting files etc?

My Desktop is showing up, my backround is, and the
computer is running processes, but i cannot see anyhting,
nor the tool bar.  Windows key does not do anything either

I recieved an OEM copy of XP when I built my desktop last
year. I recently have added another computer to the
household and would like to install XP on it . Can I use
the same copy of XP?
