Was cleaning up some stuff, and I think I deleted the
tability to use my scanner and get audio through the
speakers on my Home version of Windows XP.  How do I get

I can nolonger change from double click selection to single ckick selection because the single click choice is grayed out.  Also the restore feature will not let me go back in time.  how do I get back to single click selection?
