Ever since I uploaded the last patches for my XP Windows
home. I can not get back to the update windows to
download any more patches, Also under tool on my web
browser when I click on tools its says operation has been

Hey everyone, I added my documents and favorites to the toolbar for quick
access.  When I shut down the computer and reboot these items don't come up.
I have to manually put them in.  I have it set up like this on the other
accounts and it works fine.  It acts like it's not ...

I have a 4 mo. old HP Pavilion ze4400 notebook running XPHome.
It recently started booting up very slowly.
It also opens outlook express very slow.  Ater I click on the icon, it takes
about 30 seconds to bring up the program and another twenty seconds to be

I am trying to delete a user account and get to the point where it asks me whether I want to keep/delete files and once I click one of the choices, my computer just freezes and nothing happens.  I am unable to delete this account.  Any suggestions????

In the Notification area of my task bar, I want to get rid of the windows
messenger icon (with an X) on it. When I go to my taskbar properties, and
customize, it is not on there. How can I remove it from the Notification
Area.

I selected various actions (hide or show when inactive), but in the drop
down arrow, in Past Items, I noticed the Outlook Express, "you have new

I am having problems installing McAfee Virusscan 8 on my new PC which has
WinXP Home. The install starts and get to about 70% complete and then it all
disappears and I am returned to the start up screen with icons and nothing

hello, when i hit ctrl+alt+delete my task manger comes
up, only it does not have any tabs or nothing on top.  do

Thanks for reading my question. When using the area of
the scroll bar between the arrows, the page scrools well
beond the bottom of the previous page.When scrolling on
the up or down arrows, the scroll function works
