How can I go about getting a cd key for windows xp as the
original cd key has been lost?

I used to be using ME, until I had a new comp at work,
using XP.
But XP is strange,
it doesn't seem to navigate comfortably in DOS prompt,

When first loging on to XP I get an error message that
says Pgsdk.dll cannot be found. I found the file and
downloaded it to a disk in Zip Format, but I now need to
get directions on what to do with it? Where does it go?

I recently had the motherboard for my laptop die, and was able to get
the hard drive out and into an external case, which I can successfully
access via a friend's computer.
My problem is that I cannot access my old user files on the old drive,

Is it possible to copy mp3's in that format onto a blank CD ROM. In Media
Player it converts to WAV format which is much larger. My daughter has has a
walkman type thing that claims to play mp3's. We've been unable to copy
these to disc. Do I need a specialised program or disc.

A colleague of mine recently went on vacation and didn't
leave his password for his machine.  We are currently
trying to find out what is wrong with the software he uses
but cannot gain access to his computer.  I've tried the

I am getting the NTLDR is Missing; Enter CTL+ALT+DEL to
restart - which is useless because i keep getting it. I
see MS has posted this as a problem with a fix.  Of course
I dont have a boot disk and therefore cannot resolve to

installed a bigger hard drive on my pc. Some how would only let me have
32gb out of 120, rest went to another partition. So now I have a 120gb
drive
with a partition of 32 for fat32 and 80 for NTFS. What should I do if

On my computer there are two accounts:
Owner  (mine)
User (friend)
My friend has set herself up as administrator of the User account.

When I take a DVD out of the drive and insert a new one
the 1st DVD name stays untill I reboot my system.
Any Ideas?
