I have an IJ1200 Compaq Printer, which I used with my old Windows ME.  Now,
I changed to an xp Compaq. Should I change my Printer, since, it does not
seem to work too well? Thanks for any help.

My laptop crashed recently and I was unable to get into
Windows xp. I would like to try a patch repair of winxp.
The problem is that the laptop stops on the first screen.

I cant open system restore or system info.When I try to open a CD-ROM all I
get is a message saying
    16 bit windows subsystem
C:\PROGR~1\symantec\S32EVNT1.DLL

MSN gives me the following information:
"We were unable to sign you in to .NET Messenger Service.
error 0x81000301
Since a few days I get the message:

I followed the steps to remove the download.trojan virus
on the symantic site.  I disabled system resore and went
into safe mode just like I was asked.  Now I can't get it

Some time ago I added 2nd  (wife) user account to my pc.
