Just a note to everyone who has ever, (or never), installed Lavasoft
Ad-Aware. I wasn't familiar with it. Now that I am, and have it running, it
was one of the best things I could do for this "pretty baby of mine." I'm
big on giving credit where credit is due.

We have Windows XP Home Edition.  There are four family members that use the computer.  Three of the members have limited access, while the other member (me) has administrator access.  The problem is, the other day, I went to change my password everything seemed to go fine.  ...

when my computer turns on i cannot acces any of the icons
or start button options.  When i click on any of the icons
or the start button option the screen goes blank then the
icons come back but i cant open anything what should i do

I am beginning to wonder if MS tech support ever monitors
these pages?
In the past 2 weeks I have posted several issues, and

an admin user is required.  When switched to another admin

I can not get into my comp., even in safe mode, because

I am the administrator, Everytime i try and install
somthing it says: Registry Editing Disabled buy
Administrator. I have tried numerous times to get into
admisitrator to enable registry editing. HELP!!!

I don't know what happened to my Notepad on my computer,
I have Windows XP pro...I want to fix this without
uninstalling anything.  When I try to use it, it tells
me..."The C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\smss.exe application cannot

When I try to open any of my Windows Explorer applications
the Windows Explorer error message appears and Explorer
closes.It is the same when I try to use Internet Explorer.
