I keep getting an "NT authority" error msg regarding my Isass.exe file, and shuts my system down after 60 seconds so i cant get on the internet to fix it. a friend gave me a MS batch to fix it on a floppy--but it still comes on and keeps re-starting my computer. any suggestions?

Right click > Open In New Window starts to open a new browser window
and then hangs. It never completes. Any ideas?

When I try to open certain programs, I get an arror
message saying that the files cannot be found.  For

I am running Win98SE on my laptop.  (Pentium II 266 Mhz.  144 RAM  18.6 GB)
Can I install WinXP Home or Professional on this, without doing a clean
install?  I have both operating system programs which came with a desktop
