My PC has an overloaded processor. It begins to run real

Trying to help my parents with XP Professional locking them out.  At startup
it is asking for password.  To our knowledge a password had never been
created.  Happened about a year ago and a "tech" got it to go away....well

I need help to properly set up both IE6 and OE6 as the

option in display settings to lower screen resolution to
enlarge items on screen as well as text inside windows.

I currently have note pad as my e-mail reader; however, I receive som
attachments, via e-mail that I can not read.   Can you help?  

I know there is a way to get rid of the classic logon
screen.  Does anyone know how to change the settings?

Windows recently asked for a password in order to logon.  
THis has never happened before and I do not recall ever

can I get a replacement to use my COA, or do I have to buy
