I had forgotten the password for my account, so i used
another account to change the password. Doing this lost
my certificate or whatever it is that lets me acces those
files, i had not backed up this and i have no data

  my wife deleted something she shouldnt have,turn
computer on it goes to the welcome screen,i click owner it
trys to start windows but then shuts down windows and goes
back to welcome screen.i never had a password to log on.

XP will not boot. System goes to welcome screen and stays
there. Mouse moves, nothing. Cntrl/Alt/Del, nothing.
Problem occured when following directives to alleviate
VX2.BetterInternet pain in the tail.

Does anyone know if ctrl alt del has an alternate key
configuration for a person with only one arm?  This is
not a joke queation.  I have a user who has one are and
has to have someone hit ctrl alt del for her to log in.

I understand from MSKB article 306906 that it is pretty straightforward to
setup & use the handwriting recognition feature and that most MS programs
like Office (Word, Excel) & Outlook etc will support it. I would like to

I have installed Civilization III on a computer used by
my son, who has a limited user account.  The program was
installed from my account but I placed the shortcut in
the menu for all users.  For some reason, however, he is

Could some one help me out with my USB problem.
I plug in my memory stick into the USB port and it shows up in my computer
and then disappears again. I cannot find it anywhere. It shows up again when
I unplug it and plug it in again but disappears again before I can click it.

task bar start button completely freezes for about 5
minutes - its keeps on getting worse every time.

start bar appears it then logs me straight out everytime.

I can get to my configuration screen by pressig f1 but I
cant get to dos prompt.
