When going to options and setting the home page to default to a particular
site, then going to apply and Ok, will then always default to another site I
have not heard off. What can be done to rectify this please? Your help much
appreciated.

Just wondering if I didn't make myself clear enough.  I am using Windows XP
Home addition.  When the computer is turned on with only the desktop opened,
it is divided with a line on the left, taking up about 1/5 of the screen.

Hi...I used Accessibility Wizard to adjust resolution for
my mother's bad eyesight hoping to make the window
contents bigger.  Somehow the desktop turned upside down
and hitting cancel only returned the size to the default,

I went to 'Set Program Access and Defaults' and change my
default email program and it set IE to the default browser
(which it was anywya) and now XP points IE to a non-

I work Tech Support for a dialup internet provider.  We've been
experiencing technical difficulties regarding a good portion of our
Windows XP users.  Whenever they attempt to connect, they get the

Every time i boot up the computer and click a user profile
to log in as, the Windows XP system starts up.  It then
procedes to load itself for a bit, and then every time
without fail, resets the computer.  any suggestions?

how I could check usage further back such as today, this

It is a long story but what it comes down to is that I had to reformat my
second hard drive (I know, I know !!!).
What software program can I use now to recover some of the files?

I had xp home installed on my old pc. Then i bought a new
pc and transfered the files from old hdd to new (which
also have xp installed). Some of the folders and files if
i want to open it it says : "Access denied ".
