My Quick Launch bar has suddenly stopped appearing when I restart the

Just wondering how you change settings on your comp to

I purchased XP Pro with intentions of installing on 2
computers. On the second install, I received message that
only one computer could be activated. The first install was
a clean install to a formatted hard drive. With only one

XP Home freezes sometimes in the program menu. It may
also freeze in IE 6 surfing, it gives me no warning in
either case. It locks completely. I cannot bring up the
Task Manager or anything else. My son did get a virus a

My homepage changed to about blank and I can't change it
back. Also in internet properties homepage is grayed out
and disabled. Any help will be appreciated.
