I tried what you had suggested and got the "recording" tab to appear on the
"properties" page but my burner will still not recognize a CD in the drive.  
Everything appears to be working when I do a trouble shoot check but the
drive is just not being recognized...any other ...

I recently put together a new machine with a sata harddrive, installed
a copy of XP (hacked) and it worked fine for 2 days, but then i started
getting alot of crash report errors about digital ID.  Can it be

I have installed XP as an upgrade from W2K to my wife's computer, and
I recall that in the W2K installation the auto-logon feature was
enabled.
Now I am trying to disable this feature, so far without success. I

Win XP has for some unknown reason decided to use Photoshop to view Faxes
instead of its FAX Viewer.  Needless to say, that is nuts!  I checked the
file associations, but didn't find anything unual.

Recently downloaded Windows XP-SP2 and when it tries to install, get a
message that it is corrupted. When try to downloa a new upgrade, it only
wants to install the corrupted one that is there. How do I get rid of the
corrupt file so I can download a good one to install? Help!!

I'm not able to print any messages from folders out of  outlook express 6. I
keep getting a script error everytime I try. I am able to print  pages from
explorer, so is there something I'm missing within outlook preventing
messages to be printed?

I am finding that the text I write into the floating input panel is not
being inserted into MS Word and simply disappears. This does not happen every
time, but enough that it is seriously disruptive. I have a toshiba M200 with

As recent as last evening my computer was working fine.  This morning the
computer was down and would not reboot to windows.  I receive an error
message when turning the computer on that says, "windows
root>\system32\hal.dll. file missing or corrupt.
