i dont know how to delete a (LOCAL NETWORK) connection icon....
....all that i find is how to delete a service from the connection....

I installed the msn 7.5 but the old version that comes with the xp just
stayes logged in permanently, so when someone else is using the computer my
messenger is still running and it's not in the control panel so I can't
uninstall it.

My daughter is trying to turn on her notebook computer that runs XP home.  
The log-in window comes up and she clicks on her user name / icon.  The
password window pops up and asterisks start generating in the window before
she can start typing anything.  This continues for 5 - 10 ...

can go to custom paper size in Windows 98, but now in Windows XP I could not

sorry if this problem is the same as some other posts.
I have installed windows XP service Pack 2 on my computer but now i can't
install Fax services cause the wizard ask me to insert Service Pack 2 CD
which i don't have. ( my original operating system was with service pack 1 )

As the administrator I can't access Internet Explorer I keep getting the

"Runtime to terminate in an unusual way"

Can access everything but only with "task manager".

Hey, After installing SP2, I now have imo, way too much on the right side of
the taskbar. SP2 added the Windows Security Alerts, and my Local Area
Connection. How would I go about taking them off the task bar? Thanks very
much!
