I installed the msn 7.5 but the old version that comes with the xp just
stayes logged in permanently, so when someone else is using the computer my
messenger is still running and it's not in the control panel so I can't
uninstall it.

My daughter is trying to turn on her notebook computer that runs XP home.  
The log-in window comes up and she clicks on her user name / icon.  The
password window pops up and asterisks start generating in the window before
she can start typing anything.  This continues for 5 - 10 ...

My father gave me a computer and currently living with my brother.  I didnt
want him messing with my profile because he always manages to download a
virus or screw things up so i put a password on the profile, not letting him

I wanted to type my own paper size for printing in W8.5" x L5.5" paper, it
can go to custom paper size in Windows 98, but now in Windows XP I could not

Cannot access email links... Recently downloaded ISP supplied Firewall, Spy

As the administrator I can't access Internet Explorer I keep getting the
message
"Runtime Error"
"Runtime to terminate in an unusual way"

after windows loads, no desktop just plane blue screen with the use of the
mouse.
Can access everything but only with "task manager".
This happened after a virus scan.

While some others show as:

I have just bought a computer and im trying to set up out look express.  but

1st q: display name, that one is easy
2nd q: email, again stright forward

Hey, After installing SP2, I now have imo, way too much on the right side of
the taskbar. SP2 added the Windows Security Alerts, and my Local Area
Connection. How would I go about taking them off the task bar? Thanks very
much!
