I want to install a new large primary hard drive--can I install the new one as a slave and transfer all the existing files and operating system to the new one then make it the primary and boot drive?

Ok, I have the OEM Windows XP 1a - distribution only with a new PC.
I installed this windows XP 1a without problem.  However, at windows start
up - it kept asking for passwords which I haven't input at all.  So, I end up

tool bar and i accidently moved it to the bottom of the screen and now i cant

buy the retail version of XP.", what if I were to buy a dell dimension 4700
