I made a mistake downloading a wallpaper. I found the same wallpaper at a
different web site and downloaded it with no problem. The original wallpaper
is stuck down in the lower right corner and I can't get rid of it. Help.

My laptop died but the HDD is OK. I have put the HDD in a USB caddy and moved

How do I set up quick launch to automatically start if I reboot?  I have it
selected to start in the properties menu.  Each time I restart I have to
select in the property dialog box to get it launched.

I used to be able to update Windows XP from the Update site, but suddenly I
receive the following message when I try and update:
Install the ActiveX control required to view the website
The website will not display correctly on your computer without this

I seem to have lost my administrator account on my pc, can only get on using
the guest account which is of no use to me.

Not sure if this is the right group to post in. For some time I have had some
access rights problems with Windows XP Home Edition with 2 accounts, one is
the administrator account. I would like to try and fix them without doing a

When I come to the windows logon screen i cannot log into windows, or i can
log in but it automatically logs itself off before i can do anything.
