IVE BARELY BOUGHT THE WINDOWS XP PROFFESIONAL CD BUT IVE LOST THE FOLDER
CONTAINING THE PRODUCT KEY CAN ANYONE HELP ME HOW TO GET A NEW ONE PLEASE?

There are files popping up in "my documents" every time I turn my computer
on. Files like "album art" pop up in "my music" folder, a file called
"thumbs" pops up in "my pictures" folder. Idid not download any of this.
What are these files, is it spyware?

Have 2 identical computers. Both were running when there was a power outage.
Both were on line via a broadband connection. When rebooted  I ran a
restore, on #1  from a point just before the outage and all is OK.
Both are current with all windows updates including sp2.

HOW CAN I GET A NEW PRODUCT KEY FOR MY NEW UPGRADE CD? IVE LOST THE ORIGINAL
KEY

i have xp home and want to upgrade to professional. what do i need and  do.

I'm running Windows XP SP2. After having installed iTunes and rebooting the
PC, the dvd and cd drives are not visible anymore and can't be used. I
reinstalled the PC and each time after reloading iTunes the problem reoocurs
...

Very wierd situation here...
I have two accounts setup on my PC, one for guests
(friends that come over or whatever) and another for
myself (which is passworded).

I called on a customer the other day, who has recently upgraded from XP-Home to
XP-PRO, a friend of his tried to install the XP-PRO upgrade and didn't have
a vaild
product Key!!!!

I do not need local security in my LAN and it is a nuisance. Under Windows
2000 I never used a password (Had null passwords) and was able to access any
file from any computer. What do I have to do to access any file from any
computer Under Windows XP. I am in trouble after ...

Whenever I start up my pc I frequently am receiving a BSOD on startup with:

my start button and taskbar disappeared (desktop icons are still ok) after
installing a new graphics card. How can I get my windows start button and
taskbar back?

Is there a way for an Administrator to unlock a locked computer, without
logging the current user off?

Suddenly open windows do not show on my taskbar!  This is a problem when I
have several windows open or when I minimise a window because it just seems
to disappear.  I have to go to Task Manager to find out that it's open
somewhere on my computer and retrieve it.
