Downloaded a new trusted toolbar,it has come up blank.Done all the usual
things like clicking on view and it is there with a tick.It also shows up in
Spysweeper as a browser helper object with a tick beside it.It is just blank
on ie under the Google page.Please can you help me.

When the university's computer depot set up my computer, it misspelled my
name C:\Documents and Settings\Jane Doe rather than C:\Documents and
Settings\Joan Doe.

I, just recently, moved my computer.
Ever since, when I double click on the icon, the website does NOT open;
instead, I must right click on the icon, go to properties...copy the

I have been using the same laptop for 2 1/2 years on logging on today
message on  screen saying "Not a genuine Microsoft product" I am running

Interesting problem......I cannot login into Windows XP Pro.  At the login
screen, I choose a profile, but when I enter the password, the account is
immediately logged out.  The is for all accounts to include the adminstrator
accounts.  This happens in normal Windows and in safe ...

It's like this.  Every so often, my computer grinds to a performance halt.  
My CPU usage says 100%, and in Processes, one extra application of IE is
running and eating about 45 to 60K of memory.
In other words, if I only have 1 IE window open, I might see 2 iexplorers in

I just purchased a laptop with Windows XP Pro Installed.  When I booted the
machine, it only had a "Guest" Account available to log on.  How can I create
an adminstrator account if I only have Guest access???  Please  help me....
I'm stuck!
