-- I get a message at startup that says it can't locate "cmicnfg.cpl" I have
tried everything I know to find this but can't. Does anyone know where it
could come from and how to eliminate it?

I have problems reading my SD cards. In first instance the content of the SD
card is shown properly, but after a second I can't access the drive any more.
When I try to acces the drive I get the message 'Kan de opdracht niet

I have two HD's. Was going to format the one that windows were installed on,
so I moved the "My documents" folder to the second HD. After formatting and
installing Windows XP I no longer have acces to the folder. I can't open,
move, copy, rename, etc. the folder.

Hi...I am using XP Professional with Service Pack 2 and for some reason I can
not access my desktop.  The background appears but I can not see icons and I
can not right click on the desktop.  If I add the desktop to the taskbar I

I play Quake2 online, and I would like to be able to not have all the
services running, just bare bones minimal. I used to turn them off but over
time I guess I corrupted some things and had to formate and fresh install
last night. Am I having the right Idea??? With bare bones ...

Running Windows XP, SP2.  Have kept it updated automatically.  The last
update did not seem to take.  I keep receiving Error Message Number
0x80072F76 when I try to update manually (with custom install).  Anyone else
had this problem and if so, how was it fixed?

I have automatic updates turned on, but I always get the message "updates could not be installed" when I try to install them. Anyone know what my problem is? I'm running windows XP home edition. I tried to restore to a different time, but no help.

Hello... I just bought another pc (pentium 4 compaq) from a local charity
(computers for schools).. It was wiped clean and came with the boot disk for
