I presently have 11 svchost's running.
I killed the one that took up 95% of my cpu-- making it 12 in all.
While I don't need "everything" to be active right now, I would like to stop
this once and for all.

has anyone heard of this trojan virus?  When I do a search thru microsoft it
can't be found.  Also can't be found under Norton AV.  I need to remove it

I updated my garphics driver yesterday, but the system failed to recognise my
card and could not find a device driver for it. I rebooted and now have a
black screen on startup. The OS is loading but the graphics card/driver is
not being found.

In the second column of List View in Windows Explorer are shown folders and
filenames.  When I right-click a folder a box (which might be called the File

Wnen I open My Documents and then My Pictures Windows Explorer fails and
provides facility to send info to Microsoft.  This happens everytime I try to
open My Pictures.

I've selecte the optoin 'compress drive to save disk space' on about 76G of
stuff which includes pdf's, mp3s, movies, applications (uncompressed),
compressed applications.
Some of the folders are already compressed so it's actually compressing less
