Strange but true... I cannot open the "Network Setup Wizard".  I go to
Control Panel and double-click the "Network Setup Wizard" icon and get no

it runs my cpu at 100%. it freezes my computer. it causes my tower to make a
humming noise. it makes me crazy.
ive tried disabling every auto update on my computer, because i read it was
connected to either my norton, or windows update.

I get to the Windows XP Newsgroup page, click New/Question, then just get
looped right back to the same page; I do not get the page where I can type
in my new post. Can you help?

Hi, I have XP home.sp2 on a dell and every time I try to boot up, skn
dsk starts saying there is a dirty volume on NTFS and needs to scan.
It starts normally after this scan and a re-boot, but the whole

When I close a Windows Explorer window it will often not stop the
explorer.exe process properly leaving me with two instances of explorer.exe

If i right click start menu at bottom of screen the screen resets (Back
ground remains). also if i right click explore drive and then righ click a
folder to cut / copy etc the screen also resets

I get logged out direct after I have logged in. I don't even get the screen
just login sound and message login a short view of desktop at first attempt
after a restart but not the following login attempts. Then it says loging out
and the music plays logout tune.

Received error code 0x800710D9 while installing SP2.  Tried several times
with no success.  HELP!

When I went to Add/Remove Program and click on the Add/Remove Window
Components I get a window saying "Setup was unable to open information file
netoc.inf.  Why is this happening ?  and How do I fix it so that I can open
the Add/Remove Window Components feature.
