I have Windows XP Pro. On the Welcome screen it always says that the
user that is logged on with ID 0 has one program running.   When I open
that account, however, nothing shows up on the task bar. Nothing shows
up in the Applications list of Task Manager. I do have a bunch of apps.

My son's XP desktop never shuts down. The shutdown process just hangs. I have always suspected the wireless ethernet card. Something is timing out, out of sequence and just hanging.
Can you offer help?

Hello i put a file on a floppy disk but when i put it onto a CD disc on D:/ it wouldnt open and now i have put it back on the computer it wont open, the error that comes up is:

What is WildTangent? Is it Adware/spyware?  It is in my
Sartup in msconfig.  If so, how do i remove it?

I did something when I was looking at the display settings
and the appearance of the letters/typeface has now changed
so that they are not clear and unfuzzy like they were
before I messed with it. The letters now seem to have a

aside from being a buggy, unstable, security nightmare and a resource
hog that can't manage memory properly, ms windows (any version) is
crap.  if you're a windows user you should seriously consider switching
to linux.

hi, everyone,
i created two users from domain abc with one user from domain DDD in the xp
professional for testing purpose. now i created one user from domain XYZ. i
already copied the user profile from use from domain DDD to domain XYZ's

I'm using windows XP and sometimes when I move a window it snaps to the upper left hand corner. This is very annoying. Other times it doesn't and some module windows in other programs don't and some does.
Does anyone know how I can fix it?
