I want to delete a user profile from an XP-Pro workstation without removing
the user account from the domain.
right click My Computer -> Properties -> advanced -> User profiles.
I select the profile, but the delete button is greyed out.

Please help me,  ive had to replace my hard drive and re-install windows xp  
since ive done this all my setting for measurement ie page setup are in
inches not mm.  Can someone please tell me how i can change this and set as
default for all users.

I have XP Sp2, with a HP Laserjet4 printer via LPT1. When I want to print a
page from IE, it always defaults the margins to zero for top/bottom &
left/right, which means that the edges of text get cut off unless I change

Symptom: after copying or moving a file from one directory to another,

Help needed removing Windows XP notifications....
Does anyone know how to gid rid of the notifications that pop up, when for
instance, a network connection is made?  Or when windows is running low on
virtual memory ? etc etc....?

I just got a new emachines PC with XP Home and I don't see any mention of
SP2 being installed.  What do I do to find out if it has SP2 from the
factory?

I cannot find clipboard viewer.  Went to add/remove and it is checked there.  
Did an uninstall and reinstall of the component but I still can't find it.  
It's a real drag when I copy something and then I can't find it to print it
out.  Ditto for scan disk in system tools although ...

Can someone offer advice?  Just setup a new computer so was able to put a
fresh installation of windows xp on.   All was working well until i installed
SP2 when the computer would flash a BSOD (too quick to see) and then reset
itself just after the welcome screen comes on.  

My mother brought her PC to me at Thanksgiving.  It was displaying a number
of problems.  When trying to run a program she got missing DLL errors.  When
trying to upgrade to SP2 the download seemed to be corrupt and we kept
getting "cannot copy file" errors during the backup phase.  ...

I'm hoping you might provide some direction here, with regard to SP2.
My sister's PC has been nothing but trouble since SP2 was installed -
to the point she went out and bought parts for a new system, and a new
OEM copy of XP home so she could get rid of SP2.  I assembled her new
