Current process:
1. Copied all files from my XP disk to a folder on D drive called "winxp".
2. My file system is FAT32. And I have a floppy drive in my computer.
3. Put in a Windows 98 bootdisk, reboot into DOS, format C drive, run

Can anyone tell me how I can check a drive for duplicate files.

Hello. I used Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer and it pointed out that I
have shares set up for a few of my folders. (Windows XP Pro with SP2
installed)
So, I went to Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>System

There seems to be a 24 icon limit to the system tray,  Is there any
way to elminate this limit?  I use a third party program to add icons
to the systray, and I seem to have run out of room, I've unchecked the
"hide inactive icons",  unchecked, "Lock the taskbar", and I've turned

I just downloaded the SP2 file "WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.exe" from
the microsoft site, and was wondering if I should just burn this to a
CD or "extract" it to a CD, and if so, what file gets it started,
there is no "setup.exe" file showing when I look at it in Winzip.  

i have just brought an acer laptop and was surprised to find that the
file system is fat32. the laptop has a card reader and infa red comms but
no floppy drive is this the reason. should i convert to ntfs.

Whenever I create a shortcut, the icon has an arrow in it. I seem to
remember that there was a tool/tweak to remove that arrow but don't know
where to find it.
