In the past using Win98 I found Drive Image much easier to use than Ghost. Symantec have now taken over DI and supposedly the new Ghost 9 takes the best of both but does it? If buying one should I go for the DI 7 or Ghost 9?

windows will not load and can not get set up to load from cd disk. any idea how to restore file. Toshiba says to reformat hard drive. Got to be another way. Thanks

Is it possible for when you click on a reg file for it NOT to ask you "are you sure you want to add the following information in.... to the registry"? For all Windows flavors 98 to XP. I know it is not recommended but someone was asking me about this confirmation.

I have a Dimension 4100 PIII with Windows XP Pro that has developed several problems. My external Iomega CD-RW burner (Drive G) no longer recognizes blank CDs. However, I can burn CDs on this drive using Windows Media Player

I have a Compaq laptop bought 18 months ago and the pre-installed version of XP had a battery optimizer. A week ago I bought an HP laptop whose pre-installed XP lacks the optimizer. a) Has that feature generally been discontinued?

A question, what's the difference between using "last known good configuration" and System Restore? I used the former recently after some problems, it's now working perfectly and I lost nothing. --
