I like to use windows xp FTP to tranfer files from 1 server to a local
drive.
Does anyone has a example?
( can I use a Batch file?)

Everything was working OK, then....
When I do start , turn off computer, computer takes many minutes to get to
the shut down menu. Then after selecting shut down it again take a long time
to actually shut down. I have been using a hard reset to shut down.

RegEdt32 and Task Manager also do this all of a sudden. Applied XP SP2
and this did not help. Thanks for any guidance!

When using the Fast User Switching feature of WindowsXP Home Edition, I am
having problems accessing the A:\ drive - floppy and the D:\ drive - CD/RW.  
It seems that the first person that logs onto the system is able to access

I recently installed windows XP service pack 2 from an update CD they mailed
to me, but it caused the performance of the laptop to slow in a big way so I
uninstalled it.

I have XP Home Edition on my brand new Dell computer. Want to install XP Pro
"over" it, but I get an message (in Norwegian, both OS' are norwegian) that
says Home Edition is newer than Pro so Pro can't be installed.
Is this because of SP2? What can i do?

I've got a huge problem !
I've got Windows Xp Service Pack 2 and everything was perfectly working when

How do I boot without logging on?  TweakUI offers a way, but it works once
then doesn't 'stick' until a password is specified.  That works for awhile
then there is an error on bootup and eventually the screen locks up, and one
has to do a reinstall of Windows XP.  There is another ...

QA basic question I am afraid.  For some reason, autorun no longer works.  I
am sure that it used to.  Therefore when I insert a CD it will not run.
