I'm using XP Home and have a minor problem with an old Outlook Calendar not working suddenly -- it complains about the MAPI32.DLL file. While tracking down my problem I found something much more insidious though. Doing the normal Explorer Search for the file name it came up with

I downloaded an updated flash bios from Dell (4400_A06.EXE) to a floppy disk. The instructions say "to download the file and copy it to a DOS-bootable diskette. With the diskette in the floppy drive, reboot the system and run the program."

When I attempt to backup my system via the wizard I specify the location of my cdr drive and I get the message "The backup file file name (E:\Backup.bkf) could not be used, please ensure it is a valid path". I am using XP Professional.

On quite a few web pages I go to I get a blank page but it has a small square at the top left with three colored shapes in it, a red square, a blue circle, and a dark bluish triangle. What could be wrong? TIA

stupid question, i know....how do you change the display fonts for the entire system? i have changed the title font and the general desktop fonts, but still the interior of all windows opened still have this really small font that i can barely read....any ideas?
