I have a logical disk that points to a subdirecty on my hard disk.
How can I remove this logical disk?
It can't be deleted like a network drive.

the computer boots up to the desktop, the icons are displayed and then after
a few seconds the desktop reloads again this happens constantly as if its
caught in a continual loop, i cant run any programs like spybot etc. because

Have just spent half an hour trying to get 800x600 down to 640x480 on a
monitor that can't handle more than 640x480, and so is showing multiple
strobing bars that I can barely make out.  I know it's possible because

I have the browser working fine then it is lost. No connection even though
the DSL Connection is shown to befine. I reset the DSL modem and it makes no
differend. When I restart the computer the browser again makes connection
with the internet.

I need to know all of the versions of Windows that have the Compressed
Folders feature, that treats .zip files as a folder.  I know Windows
XP has it--which other versions have it as well, please?  Thank you.

Hi I am having issues with my wireless network on SP 1.
I am able to get connected to my local wireless net but I am unable to view
available ones. It appears gray in that box.

Can I configure any program to reside in the XP system tray, or does it
need to be written to do so?
For example, XP comes with a simple calculator applet which is not

I try to install a programm on my windows Xp pro Sp1 and everytime i receive
error message.
When i see event viewer i find these errors about COM+ event Id 4822 and
4444 in application and 7034 and 7031 in system.

I have suddenly lost my entire sound system.  It was working fine in the
morning, and after I came home it was not.  I have checked all connections,
jada, jada, jada.  Everything is as it should be and all sound controls show

Half way down the list of programs to remove it starts a black vertical

Not sure what going on.
I can't seem to google.  - This page cannot be displayed.  Nor can I right

A month ago I had to restore my system using msconfig.  Ever since then
I get a chkdsk on my D: drive (a second hard drive installed in the
Universal Drive Bay on my notebook) before Windows startup.  I have
tried other hard drives in the Universal Drive Bay but the chkdsk
