Is it safe to use the WinME versions of Scandisk and Defrag on an XP
machine?
AND can I simply copy them from a WinME machine with no problem?

Hi I have a problem with Windows XP Home Edition,
Whenever I click on a folder Icon it doesn't open the folder but it opens
a search pane with the yapping dog. Any ideas how I can change this so

Hiya,
After setting up a home network earlier today (this + 1 other comp) I
noticed that one of my taskbar icons, for motherboard monitor 5, was
missing.

In Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs, I have 20 or more Windows Hotfixes.  
Is there a way of hiding these hotfixes?  I don't want to remove or uninstall
the hotfixes, just prevent them from appearing on the list.  Thanks in

I purchased a Lexar Secure v.2.0 USB jumpdrive to use with my XP Home, SP2
