Is there a way to have Windows XP launch an application when a USB thumb drive is plugged in? I want to recognize the event and run my application. If not, is there a way to monitor the USB port for a drive and recognize when that happens?

I have two computers, one I use at home, the other a laptop I use on the road. Is there someway I can export a copy of the "saved passwords file" from the home computer to import it on my laptop. Thanks for any guidance.

I have the latest version of Windows media player. Sometimes, I try to watch a short clip, and the film finishes, but clearly there's more sound to it. Then if I click on the slider I get to see more of the video - like there's another page!

Hi, Can anyone tell me how to turn the XP firewall off, it is marked as OFF on its control panel but in the security centre it marked as ON! I also get regular messages that is is blocking ntoskrnl.exe which I have allowed on my prefered Sygate Firewall.
