Windows Update has me in a loop. First it downloads and installs Microsoft
Windows Installer 3.1. Then tells me to restart.
Then the same thing over and over again. Any suggestions?

I have 4 computers peer to peer network, how do I set folder and file
permissions for each user or group?

I know I can export as an IAF file then import it back in after a
re-install.  Question is does it also save all the subscribed groups?
Have tried opening the IAF file in Notepad and from what I can see it
doesn't.  If not how can I save a list of subscribed groups?

Hello experts,
Today, after I have sucessfully logged onto my ISP, and I then attempt to
boot up IE, I get a pop up dialog box stating "Runtime Error!  R6025 virtual
function call".

XP Home. A folder with only one picture in it was sent to the Recycle Bin.
Now it refuses to be deleted for good, doesn't open, doesn't show the
picture inside, and doesn't even show the same picture I put in another

computers)but for some reason the laptop I am trying to network just
does not seem to connect - I do the wizard on each computer - I see it
on my computer but I can not see it on the laptop - any insight?
