 There used to be a way to change the start folder when starting up windows
explorer, but it escapes me. Can somebody point me in the right direction?

I like using the "right click - OPEN WITH" command to select the relevant
program to open up graphics files. That way I get the right software
depending on what I am about to do with the file.
However, Microsoft Photo Editor does not appear on the list. It is on my

Hi...isn't there are program in Windows XP that lets me see all the folders
on my hard drive and how much room they're taking up?  I know there was on
Windows 98, but I can't see how to do this in XP.

   I have used partition magic on my NTFS system twice now. Not Bad. I have
media Center and I made a 4 G FAT32 partition I'm going to put 98se or linux
on and I made a 10 G partition NTFS for XP x64 pro. What is the default
cluster size of FAT32 on a 200 GB HD? Probably huge, ...

I get a message whenever I open a file or document.  It says
c:\...(doc name) is being used by (my name).  Do you want to make a copy?
What can I do to get rid of this?

I use Win XP SP2. My notebook pc came with 512 mb ram.  I later added
another 512mb but in my systems (Control Panel/System), it only show ram at
896mb and not 1024mb.
Is something wrong with my new memory?

I'm having trouble getting through the process of adding some folders
to "My NetWork Places" on two machines using WinXP SP2 (Home edition.)
I have several folders listed in "My NetWork Places." on the two
