When I type in the EXACT file name and click "search" it finds "no results." I have tested it several different ways with different known file names or topics... searching under file names and/or words within the files. It is set to search Drive C... shouldn't that cover ...

In the Documents and Settings directory, there are three folders: All Users, Default User, and "User Name". I am the only user. Can I delete two of the three folders? If so, is there any information from the two folders that should be in the remaining folder?

It looks like during a reboot sequence my copy of ie6 was corrupted. before the reboot I was able to lock the toolbars into what ever setup I wanted and reopening ie they would still be in that setup. now the number of toolbars has dropped and I cannot get the toolbar

My XP SP2 is going crazy. It started today 11/07/05. When I try to open my mail inbox, I get a notepad message. The same when I try to open Download Manager. I used my SP2 upgrade disk to repair the system, but it did not work. The problem remains.

My Wireless network is working fine. But very often the Wireless connection in the process bar pops up saying that everything is fine and that the signal is extreme good. That is very disturbing with that message bubble. How can I avoid that ? I

When I put Windows in standby it seems windows is sleeping but the puter is still working: fans are running, etc. I want it to be quiet just like when it is shut down, is this possible? Thanks

During short periods of inactivity, such as when games are loading... the program closes to the desktop. I have checked the settings in the display control panel and set everything to "not closing" or "do not hibernate" but the action continues

I have 2 PCs both running XP Pro. As I am the only user I gather that I am the administrator on both. On one of them when I power on I am not asked to log on. That is how I want it.
