I did a "defrag" on Drive/Partition C and  received a dialogue box stating
that some files could not be moved/defragged (see below).  What's up.?

Still working on my problem!
Error 711----Remote Access Service Mgr. could not start.
In Admin. tools, I get "Error 5 -Access is denied" - when I try to start

Hi. I used to have Quicken 98 Deluxe installed and running on my PC (windows
XP) I then installed Quicken 2006 which overwrote Quicken 98. I dont like
Quicken 2006 so I tried to re-install Quicken 98 but when I insert the disc I

Until recently I was using Windows Me. Now I have a desktop and a laptop,
both using Windows XP.
There is one feature that I used often in Me that I miss in the new Xp.

Brand new machine runnung XP home SP2 created a compressed file by rt
clicking on the desktop and goint to new compressed file. When dragging a
Word document to the compressed file rather than coping in the zip folder and
leaving the origional in its origional location it moved ...

I would like to upgrade my Win98 machines to WinXP, but I can not afford
another Win Office upgrade also. If I upgrade to WinXP will my Win2000
applications (Excel/PowerPoint) work ?
