Can anyone help me understand what is happening with MSN Messenger?
The problem I am having is that Messenger seems to have a mind of its own.
It is logging me in when I open Outlook Express automatically, even though I
have the settings in Outlook Express NOT to log me in ...

Hello to you all, my quick launch bar will not remain ticked in the
settings, taskbar menu. Thus is not there after each reboot.
This occured after installing Canon MP500 printer drivers and bundled
software. I have uninstalled and reinstalled one by one to no avail.

Our family desktop has five users, but (until last night) no password

 deselect the box a border or frame appears around the box.  How can I
get rid of the border/frame.

In trying to get rid of spyware, I accidentally deleted the I.E. dialer in
the"dialers" file located in the "program files" folder as well as two
unidentified files in the "downloaded programs" file located in the "Windows"
folder. Now I can only access the web by first launching ...

I was messing with some settings and now when I right click to open
properties, click on to create a new user, new link, new folder it... etc..
it opens a program. How do I reset this to the default link?

I want to update a PC that is not on the internet. How can I download the
SP2 for Windows XP, save it to a disk and then update the other PC. So far
it always checks the connected PC (that has SP2 installed). I don't seem to
have the option to save the download. Any thoughts?

I reinstalled windows and now my speakers  won't work. I've tried all 3 plugs
and no difference. It's not detecting them. Why is that? What did I do wrong
while reinstalling? It was fine before... How can I fix it?

I am using winxp media center sp2, my machine has dual boot
