A simple question for us today.
My system sounds (e.g. new mail in Outlook, device connect when PDA is
hotsynced, etc.) do not play when I configure them and perform a restart. I
fear that something has corrupted the sound files. Playing the sounds as

I keep getting "windows cannot find(two squares)  I can't find a key to use

I have configured and personalized the Windows Explorer toolbar ( added some
new buttons and change the text size ) in a Windows XP computer that is on a
domain.  I have limited rights.

i've a strange problem with nero burning rom. I login myself  like limited
user. When i must run nero to burn a cd I do so:
right click on nero's icon and choose "run as" to run nero with
administrator power.

There is within XP-Pro a program that checks out the integrity of XP itself.
I think it is called checkdisk or something. Need to run it on a computer
but don't get the exact name so XP reports it cannot find it.
Can someone help me out here fairly quickly.

I have a program in my add remove that is no longer there and it will not
remove. I need it out of my add remove so i can reinstall it but the program
tells me it has 12.90mb left on my hd but i did a serch and theres nutthin

Can anyone help me.  I have been getting alerts when trying to play
interactive gaming. that say unable to load gxchat.dll and
gxcontentmanager.dll. and other gx messages.  does anyon know how to fix this
problem.

removable HDD, I now want to schedule incremental backups to be made daily to a
second local drive, starting with a full backup there. System files keep
changing as new programs are added or modified ...
