I was wondering if it was possible to set up something that allows me
to change screen resolution quickly, maybe by clicking something on the
desktop?

I have no sound.  I have checked volume it is turn up.  I have checked plugs,
all correct.  I have gone to control panel and nothing is muted.  it also
shows all devices working properly.  I have not installed anything new.

   How do you defragment the swap and the MBR? Also the registry isn't
defragged I don't believe when you defragment your drive. I know the swap
and MBR isn't. Are there any undocumented commands that do this. I have
media center and x64.

Two updates must have been corrupted during the download, and the security

Many of the file names in various folders are changing color.    In some
folders-all files names have changed to blue, in others, inly some have
changed. The default is set to black.
Any ideas would be helpful.

Upon booting I get the "welcome" screen which stays there for approx 30
seconds, disappears then goes to a black screen.  I immediately get two short
